It's kind of blurry, but this is what it said:
ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK"We're not for everyone, we know that".
•Japanese pop-stoner-metal loonies Electric Eel Shock are back to promote the bands new album,
Transworld Ultra Rock, with a 10-date UK tour. Frontman/guitarist Aki Morimoto and bassist Kazuto Maekawa take a bow and introduce themselves.
Classic Rock's review of your last album, 2005's Beat Me said EES are Japans answer to Queens Of The Stone Age. Do you think that is a fair comment? Kazuto: It's a compliment. A good thing.
Aki: We are all stoners.
Electric Eel Shock are a far from ordinary band. Does it matter if people love or hate you, as long as you get a reaction?Aki: I think it's true. So-so is very bad. We're not for everyone, we know that.
Kazuto: We like to shock.
By all accounts your live show is a riot.Aki: We like to enjoy ourselves on stage. There are no special effects. Our drummer [Tomoharu 'Gian' Ito, who will be sitting out this tour] likes to get naked when playing live, except forhis socks.
Why is Damon Richardson, formerly of Canadian band Danko Jones, replacing 'Gian' on these dates?Aki: Gian has family problems. Electric Eel Shock supported Danko Jones back in 2003, so when Damon-san offered to help out, we were pleased. We couldn't have considered many drummers to fill Gian's chair for a whole tour, but Damon is a big fan and friend.
Jonathan Ross is a big fan of your band.Aki: We haven't met him, but a camera crew from his programme came to Japan to film us for his show. It was good publicity for us.

So, this is a bit dated, as you can tell. I got the magazine in December of last year.
