We knew we would do this long before any record label did—in fact we toured in 25 countries around world before we signed our first deal—we were too busy to concentrate on label! But now we have 5 record labels and counting.

How did EES come to be and when did you realize that this was something big?

EES has toured through a good portion of the planet. What are some of the crazy stories you have from the road?
We once played a festival on the beach in an English seaside town. The tide came in so far that I caught a fish off the stage! Fortunately the tide went out by the time we were due to play. But our drunk, stupid tour manger Bob Slayer threw the fish in audience and it hit a blind man. It was OK because his friend threw it back and we ate it later that night. Very tasty!

What advice can you give to the undiscovered musicians of the world?
Don't wait for anyone just do it yourself and then keep going. Keep being creative, take every opportunity that comes your way and enjoy every minute. Because just wishing you were a bigger band is like searching for the end of the rainbow!
