Electric Eel Shock featured on episode 1 of Jonathan Ross's Japanorama on BBC3.
"For the past few years Electric Eel Shock have been wowing audiences with Pittsburgh to Preston with their Heavy Metal Antics... but first they had to suffer rejection at home
"At a time when Japan was more keen on Hip Hop and J-Pop Electric Eel Shock were true outsiders and like the ronin before them they hit the road in search of acceptance... And they found it in jolly old England, Mile End in the East End of London to be precise... where they quickly grasped the essence of our British way of life.
"Drinking and jellied eels the perfect combination from a band that got its name from the long slithery sort.
"All jellied up they continued their tour of the world returning to Japan as heroes... Having found fame aboard Electric Eel Shock is finally able to deliver their heavy metal message in Japan."
